Moonrise

Designed as a housewarming gift between spouses, Moonrise was modeled after actual views of the new house and surrounding landscape. Embellished with everything that could go bump on the night. For those with a keen eye there could be some musical references sprinkled throughout.

This image is painted on a circular saw blade. It is 2 feet in diameter, and 3/16 inch thick, with a welded hanger on the back. Acrylic on metal, top coated with semi-gloss lacquer. It also has a custom transport tray.
